DEREK FISHER’S GAME-WINNING THREE.
In the ugliest game ever to be played with a basketball, the Lakers beat the Dallas Mavericks on the very, very old, but trusty left hand of Derek Fisher. #GotEmCoach
I’ve seen that once or twice.
Thanks Fish. Now don’t ever play more than 12 minutes in a game the rest of your Laker career.
lol look at lamar tryna all hard.
More impressive: Kobe’s alley-oop reverse dunk or those #IllegalGermanKnees?
MUST WATCH: The “Pine Box”
One of my favorite dunks of all-time. The Daddy sticks The Admiral in a pine box. There have been many since, but this was the first dunk I ever saw where I assumed the other guy was dead.
From Shaq’s 2002 auto-biography Shaq Talks Back:
I got some revenge at the 1995 All-Star Game at the Alamodome, dunking on Robinson as hard as I’ve ever dunked and knocking him to the ground. That was a message. I wanted to show him that he’ll never be able to stop me, especially when I’m coming like that. I kind of showed the rock to him, then had to bring it back a little bit, and I just threw the thing down, right on him. Wah-pah! And when he fell, I just looked at him, “Stay down, don’t get up.”
Of course, it was the ‘96 AS game, and he didn’t fall, but whatever. Still a pretty great paragraph.
